Who Pays for Court-Ordered Rehab or Therapy?
Cost questions can hold up care. They are also rarely answered by one simple rule, especially when court-related requirements, payment arrangements, and clinical recommendations all meet in the same situation.
Short answer
Payment may depend on the provider, self-pay options, scholarship availability, the type of care, court or program requirements, and whether the service is treatment, therapy, education, testing, or evaluation. Do not assume the court or provider will automatically pay.
Before scheduling, ask what service is required, whether Brave Path is clinically appropriate, what payment or scholarship options may be available, and what documentation can be provided.
